Rather, we’ll install a 240-volt or 120-volt outlet for your level one charger based on what it needs. Level one chargers are generally recommended for someone who isn’t using the EV every day and rather just for traveling. You can get about 5 to 12 miles per hour that your vehicle charges with a level one charger.

A level two charger, on the other hand, charges your vehicle fully while you’re sleeping, as there’s greater power coming in. That makes it the preferred option for people who drive an EV to work daily or need to charge a vehicle fast. If you’re interested in a level two charging station, we’ll put in a 240-volt circuit so that you can charge your vehicle quickly and at your convenience. With a level two charger, you can get roughly 20 to 60 miles for every hour your vehicle charges. You can’t get much better than that in a residential application.

A level three charger, also called a DC fast charger, is a more commercial type of charger for use in public areas with a low dwell time. We can provide you with a new service or a transformer to get you the 480-volt power needed for these chargers. With a level three charger, you can get the fastest charge rates available with the ability to completely charge your car in anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
